Purchasing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our procurement team at GCG, supporting the acquisition of goods and services essential to our aviation and culinary operations across the Caribbean and Latin America. The role ensures timely purchase order processing, supplier coordination and inventory control to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, process and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery receipts and invoices.
• Verify supplier invoices against orders and coordinate with accounting for timely payments.
• Support the preparation of procurement reports and assist with audits.
