Receiving Officer

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Receiving Officer to join our retail team at M&C Drugstore, a member of Goddard Enterprises Limited. In this role you will ensure that inventory is received, processed and handled efficiently, supporting smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices, label boxes and move items to the sales floor.
• Maintain accurate records, including damage reports and product returns.
• Organise van deliveries, uphold security standards in the receiving area and coordinate with suppliers, drivers and store staff.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock, rotate stock and assist with store displays and merchandising.
• Support sales and promotions, handle customer inquiries, concerns and complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Five CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• At least two years of retail experience.
• Strong customer service, sales and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying hours.
• Good physical condition, stamina and strength for handling goods.
