Maintenance Associate

About the role

The Maintenance Associate supports the upkeep of equipment, machinery and facility infrastructure at our operations facility in Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia. You will ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted operations while adhering to our high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports.
• Ensure proper use, storage and upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Conduct routine checks of lighting, plumbing, refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems.
• Support facility improvement projects and emergency repair work as needed.

Required profile

• Certificate or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role, preferably in food production, catering, hospitality or an industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
