Quality and Food Safety Lead

About the role

The Quality and Food Safety Lead will champion the organization’s commitment to safe, high‑quality food service across our airport and culinary operations. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that all food safety practices meet regulatory standards and support our mission of delivering exceptional travel and dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the organization’s Food Safety Plan, keeping it current and compliant with all applicable regulations.
• Review and update Food Safety and Policy Manuals whenever laws, regulations, or internal practices change.
• Conduct regular food safety inspections throughout all operational areas.
• Report critical findings from audits and safety checks to the management team for immediate action.
• Perform monthly food safety audits, develop corrective actions, and carry out root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with pest‑control services to ensure a pest‑free environment.
• Design and implement a comprehensive food safety training program for all staff.
• Lead documented food safety meetings to keep the team aligned on best practices.
• Represent the company during external customer and regulatory authority audits.
• Develop and coordinate corrective action plans following external audit findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining and updating food safety plans and policy manuals.
• Hands‑on experience conducting food safety inspections and audits.
• Ability to analyse audit results, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience working with pest‑control providers to maintain a clean environment.
• Strong communication skills for reporting findings and representing the company in external audits.
