Sales Assistant & Porter – Retail Support

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Sales Assistant/Porter to join our Vieux Fort store. You will deliver exceptional customer service, support sales, and ensure the store’s inventory is received, stored, and displayed according to our standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers, answer queries and handle complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
• Merchandise store shelves following company standards.
• Receive, off‑load, pack and store goods from the warehouse and local suppliers safely.
• Provide inventory feedback to management and support stock‑taking processes.
• Support the team in achieving overall company goals.

Required profile

• Five CXC passes at General Level, including English Language.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, lift at least 50 lbs, and follow safe lifting techniques.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Good physical condition, stamina and strength.
