Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness at our M&C Drugstore location. You will ensure the premises make a great first impression for customers and staff while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum all floor areas.
• Empty trash bins, service restrooms and wipe down communal surfaces.
• Dispose of waste promptly and responsibly.
• Keep stairwells and passageways clear of debris.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to guidelines.
• Report any building damage or repair needs to management.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Secondary school education is an asset.
• Physically able to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repeatedly during shifts.
• Comfortable working in dusty environments.
• Good communication skills and a cheerful disposition.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without direct supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, including proper storage and disposal.
• Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
