Security Officer

About the role

Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), a multinational conglomerate, is looking for a vigilant and professional Security Officer for its M&C Drugstore. The officer ensures the safety and security of the retail store, staff and customers, helps prevent theft, monitors suspicious activity and enforces store policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the store premises through patrols.
• Prevent shoplifting and internal theft through active observation and intervention.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and alarms.
• Assist in conflict resolution and de-escalation of tense situations.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Greet customers and provide assistance when needed, keeping a visible and approachable presence.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma.
• Proven experience in the security field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
