Down Trade Sales Representative

About the role

CPJ St. Lucia Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Down Trade Sales Representative to join our Down Trade Sales Department. The successful candidate will report to the Down Trade Sales Manager and will lead the assigned sales route, organizing goods and orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow of products.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the division’s products, continuously seeking new opportunities for introducing products to customers.
• Place customers’ orders and conduct delivery of products.
• Handle customer questions, complaints and billing queries with courtesy and professionalism.
• Collect revenue and adjust customers’ accounts where necessary.
• Submit activity reports such as daily visit reports and territory analyses aligned to routes set by the DSD Manager.
• Verify inventory wherever the company’s products are sold and ensure product availability.
• Assist in implementing advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain working knowledge of all company products, services, pricing and promotions.
• Make recommendations according to customers’ needs and share knowledge of competitors’ offerings.
• Manage returns from the trade in accordance with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of five CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• At least three years’ experience in a sales environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
