Service Advisor – Customer Service & Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our automotive service department. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries by phone and in person, and ensuring a smooth service experience from vehicle intake to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly (ideally within three rings) and greet all visitors courteously.
• Prepare accurate Customer Job Sheets after listening to client concerns and provide clear explanations of the required work.
• Receive vehicles for service, maintenance, or repair and coordinate with technicians for diagnostics and test drives when needed.
• Communicate progress updates to customers, obtain approvals for additional work, and keep them informed of any cost changes.
• Inspect completed vehicles to verify that all requested work is finished, the vehicle is clean, and all paperwork is signed.
• Deliver the vehicle to the customer, explain the work performed, and follow up with a post‑service phone call.
