Retail Supervisor – Home Depot

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Supervisor to lead our Home Depot store teams, ensuring exceptional service, efficient operations, and strong sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and coordinate all operational activities efficiently.
• Provide leadership and supervision to drive team performance and meet organisational goals.
• Schedule work to maintain effective staffing levels and workflow.
• Assist management in enforcing company procedures and policies.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training, coaching and progressive discipline to maintain a high‑performing team.
• Resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
• Establish safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Manage delivery and receiving processes, maintain accurate inventory and ensure the store is well stocked.
• Generate and present operational reports as required.
• Assist with stock‑takes.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Retail industry experience is an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and motivate a team.
• Strong attention to accuracy and ability to manage inventory.
• Flexibility to work a seven‑day operation and across multiple locations.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
