Sales Assistant / Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Sales Assistant/Cashier to join our M&C Drugstore team, part of Goddard Enterprises Limited. In this position you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service while efficiently processing sales transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries.
• Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit and debit payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is attractively displayed.
• Support inventory counts and stock management.
• Address customer questions or complaints with a positive attitude.
• Follow store policies, including health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Five CSEC passes at General Level, including English.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team‑player mindset with a willingness to learn.
