Sales Clerk / Cashier

About the role

Join a dynamic retail team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and a seamless shopping experience. As a Sales Clerk/Cashier you will be the front‑line ambassador, helping customers find what they need while ensuring accurate transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to customers and generate additional sales.
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling all forms of payment.
• Arrange and display merchandise on the sales floor for easy, safe access.
• Maintain stock levels, order goods from the warehouse, and keep the department well‑merchandised.
• Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and product questions.
• Assist with stock‑take and inventory control.

Required profile

• Minimum of five CXC passes at General proficiency level, including Mathematics and English.
• At least one year of sales experience in the retail industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and coordinate activities across locations.
• Team‑oriented attitude and courteous customer interaction.
