Sales Clerk Specialist (Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Clerk Specialist to join our electrical retail team in Bois D' Orange. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring our store is well‑stocked, merchandised, and presented to drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers, upsell and cross‑sell electrical products to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Provide accurate product knowledge and demonstrate proper use of electrical items.
• Arrange and display merchandise for easy, safe access and an appealing shopping experience.
• Order stock from the warehouse and other retail locations, ensuring inventory accuracy in the operating system.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and product queries with professionalism.
• Conduct product testing before purchase and support regular stock‑take activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of five CXC passes at General proficiency, including Mathematics and English.
• Associate degree, certificate, or relevant experience in electrical installation.
• At least one year of retail sales experience, preferably in an electrical environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑player attitude, organized, flexible, and reliable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Counterpoint SQL (preferred).
