International Security Agent

About the role

The International Security Agent ensures the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft for American Airlines at Hewanorra International Airport. You will screen passengers, baggage, and cargo, enforce security protocols, and support in‑flight security while delivering a smooth and efficient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with security checks of passengers, baggage, and cargo at Hewanorra International Airport.
• Operate and monitor screening equipment such as X‑ray machines and metal detectors.
• Enforce American Airlines security rules, verify passenger identification, and ensure compliance before boarding.
• Monitor passenger behavior during flights and assist cabin crew in maintaining a safe cabin environment.
• Participate in training sessions on aviation safety, threat detection, emergency procedures, and handling disruptive passengers.
