Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a vigilant and professional Security Officer to protect our retail store, staff, and customers. You will play a key part in preventing theft, monitoring suspicious activity, and ensuring a safe shopping environment. Key responsibilities

• Patrol store premises regularly to deter shoplifting and internal theft.
• Observe and intervene promptly when suspicious behavior is detected.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely manner.
• Assist in conflict resolution and de‑escalate tense situations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Greet customers and provide assistance, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Secondary school diploma.
• Proven experience in the security field preferred.
• Strong observational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
