Direct Outdoor Sales Agent

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is hiring a Direct Outdoor Sales Agent in Gros Islet. The agent identifies and pursues sales opportunities for the Digicel+ product portfolio with new customers, upsells and cross-sells to existing ones, provides customer and after-sales service, and liaises with other departments to complete transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve 100% of the sales target and the required mix of Digicel products and services.
• Maintain the required number of customer contacts daily, weekly and monthly to meet targets.
• Use prescribed CRM tools fully and record prospect information, appointments, conversations, orders and applications accurately.
• Record and report cash deposits received from customers as requested by the company or manager.
• Resolve customer complaints, queries and concerns honestly and professionally, and act as an external ambassador for Digicel.
• Maintain and account for stock of devices.

Required profile

• Minimum of three CXC (CSEC) subjects including English and a numerical subject such as Accounts, Mathematics or Physics, or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience with demonstrated success; customer service experience is an asset.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the Internet and applications.
