Sales Assistant / Porter

About the role

Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), a multinational conglomerate, is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Assistant/Porter to join its Vieux Fort team at M&C Drugstore. The role provides customers with exceptional service and generates additional sales, while ensuring goods received from the Drugstore Warehouse and local suppliers are offloaded, packed and stored properly, and that shelves are merchandised and stocked to established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers and respond to customer queries.
• Address customer complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Merchandise store shelves in line with company standards.
• Ensure back-store inventory is packed and stored safely and appropriately.
• Give management feedback on inventory movement.
• Assist with the stocktaking process.
• Support the team in achieving the company's goals.

Required profile

• Five (5) CXC passes at General Level, including English Language.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks and use safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Excellent physical condition, stamina and strength; must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
